David Russell (born December 13, 1950 in Los Angeles) is a storyboard artist. His original choice of profession was to be a comic book artist, inspired by the work of Jack Kirby. After meeting Kirby who became a mentor to him, Russell continued his art education and began working as a storyboard artist on cartoons.
