* At one point, Thrust appeared to be an entirely new character invented for the second series of Transformers Attacktix.  It was possible that he was intended as a new form for Generation 1 Thrust or Armada Thrust, but since the entire Attacktix line was canceled, we'll probably never know.  Heck, given the Attacktix line's lack of supporting fiction, we probably never would have known anyway. Until an entry of the 2015 Facebook blog Ask Vector Prime assigned Thrust as a Robots in Disguise (2001) character.
* Thrust seems to be an entirely new character invented for the second series of Transformers Attacktix, an interpretation supported years later by Ask Vector Primen which made him a Robots in Disguise (2001) character.

The name or term "Thrust" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Thrust (disambiguation).
Thrust is a Decepticon from the 2001 Robots in Disguise continuity family.
He sure is a Decepticon.

Thrust, created by Jhiaxus, is an expert sharpshooter. He is sometimes rivals and allies with Obsidian.

Fiction

Ask Vector Prime

In an obscure little universe, Malgus 508.6 Zeta, the Transwarp explosion on Dinobot Island blasted Waspinator's spark clear of his body. It was eventually plucked from Unspace by the Jhiaxus of Viron 903.0 Beta, who used it to power a protoform blank who would become Thrust. Thrust was a suave sharpshooter, more than capable of helping Jhiaxus in his scheming. Underneath, though, the subconscious memories of the bungler he had been haunted him, causing him to manifest a cowardly streak in the face of any real danger. He and Obsidian, the brilliant Autobot turncoat, were at times rivals and at times allies. All in all, the Destructicons were quite a force to be reckoned with. They were probably the Elite Guard's most tenacious foes. Ask Vector Prime

Attacktix

 • Thrust (Booster, 2007)
Two different Attacktix Thrust pieces were planned for the ultimately unreleased series-2 "Booster" assortment, each a "super Rare" available in blind-packed Booster Packs. The first was to be a redeco of the series-1 Skyblast robot-mode piece, a 30-point "Specialist" with a spring-loaded spear-stab attack. His Special Power, "Transform", was to let you replace a fallen robot-mode Thrust with his vehicle-mode piece if you have it in your Back-Ups (not the "defeated" pile.)

Game over.
This Attacktix item has been canceled, with no current plans for release.

...Or is he?
 • Thrust (Booster, 2007)
The second Thrust Attacktix piece, part of the same Booster set, would have been (of course) a redeco of Skyblast's jet-mode piece, which can pivot up and down and fires a standard Attacktix missile. A 20-point "Specialist", his Special Power "Transform" would have let you replace the defeated vehicle-mode Thrust with robot-mode Thrust if you have him in your Back-Ups (not the "defeated" pile).
In Hasbro's stock photo of the piece (right), the base was mistakenly given Skyblast's label.

Game over.
This Attacktix item has been canceled, with no current plans for release.
