Alan Purwin (1962–September 11, 2015) was a helicopter stunt pilot who was founder and president of the Los Angeles-based Helinet Technologies.[1] He was an aerial coordinator and pilot on Transformers, Revenge of the Fallen and Age of Extinction. He worked on many other films and TV Shows starting with the '80s series Air Wolf, and including the likes of Jurassic Park, Speed, Pearl Harbor, Stealth, and Star Trek. He died in a plane crash in September 2015.[2][3]
