Fiction

Ask Vector Prime

At some point, a lost Insecticon patrol crash-landed on the planet Serton. One of their number interfaced with the database which operated the ruined underwater city Sertlandia, becoming Chromhorn. Chromhorn sent his troops out to raid local villages for slaves in order to rebuild the ancient Sertlandians' Temporal Analysis & Replication Dampening Interference Subjugator. Unfortunately for Chromhorn, the villagers of Azurala paid the visiting Decepticon Spacewarp to investigate the abductions. To keep the powerful TARDIS out of Chromhorn's possession, Spacewarp and her crew tried to take it for themselves, only to be confronted by the Insecticons. Spacewarp proceeded to trick Chromhorn into turning the TARDIS on, and Chromhorn was trapped in his own increasingly unlikely future. Spacewarp's Log

Toys

  • Chromhorn Forest Type (Basic, 2004)
    • Japanese ID number: SD-18
    • Accessories: Energon drill, energon cannon, Decepticon energon chip
A limited-release—but still regular retail—redeco of Insecticon in numerous shades of green was released in Japan. The packaging was largely unchanged, only a new bubble-front and a sticker to cover the original ID number were added.

Notes

  • Chromhorn is named after the Japanese Super Link name for the Energon Insecticons. He utilizes the Japan-exclusive "Forest Type" toy deco.
