Megatron's ship, the Darksyde, was battling the Axalon when it was pulled through an unexpected dimensional rift and crash-landed on prehistoric Earth. He and his crew disembarked to find Depth Charge outside. Shattered Destiny

- Megatron's design appears to be based on the Deluxe-sized Beast Wars 10th Anniversary Megatron toy with Optimus Primal's color scheme.
