- Frak is a Transformer from the IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Working as an Energon miner in the Thymesis facility on Luna 2, Frak is a 'bot of humble aspirations — while his axe-hand is okay and all, a drill would be nice.

Unnerved, Rushcut alerted Momus, the foreman, who called in the find as a "code 113". - "Frak" is a fictional expletive originating in the obscure computer game Frak! and made popular by the reimagined Battlestar Galactica TV series.
- In relation to mining, the homophone "fracking" is a contraction of "hydraulic fracturing", a method of extracting gases from rock.
