Taurus was one of the many operatives of G.I. Joe sent to the planet Cybertron after an encounter with the [[Decepticon]]s led them to believe that all of its inhabitants were hostile. On the alien world, Taurus's team captured [[Wheeljack (G1)|Wheeljack]] and began taking him apart until he proved himself to be sentient. Just as the operation was tabled, Wheeljack's friends burst in on the scene and launched an offensive.
