- Claw is a Decepticon from the Generation 1 continuity family.
Claw revels in his role as a mindless psychotic killer. His fingertips have been equipped with extensible barbed claws which can be used for a variety of purposes... but mostly killing.
His favorite thing in the world is to grab some defenseless 'bot by the neck, pop his claws, show off his toothy smile and spout his catchphrase, "Ripping time!"

Prior to the Ark's launch, Claw was assigned to Fort Scyk.
He and his unit were sent to attack a Neutralist holdout in the nearby town of Yuss. They were ambushed by an Autobot infiltration unit.
Claw was the first casualty, Sunstreaker blew his head off.
Sunstreaker's direct attack proved to be a feint, his teammates used the confusion caused by Claw's death to attack the other Decepticons from behind.
