Among her many roles she is best known for her roles in anime as Bianca in Pokémon, Lenalee Lee in D.Gray-Man, Himawari Kunogi in XXXHOLiC, Sinon Kozuki in Starship Operators, Alice L. Malvin in Pumpkin Scissors, Ryoko Okami in Okami-San and her Seven Companions, Boota and Gimmy Adai in Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, Yattaman-2/Ai Chan in Yatterman, Hildegarde in Beelzebub, Akeno Himejima in High School DxD, Misa Kakizaki/Student Number 7 in Negima! and Minako Aino/Sailor Venus in Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Crystal.

  • Itō often voices alongside Hitomi Nabatame and Jun Fukuyama. Coincidentally all three voice actors voice in the Japanese dub of Transformers: Prime.
  • Itō and Nabatame formed a voice acting unit called "Hitoshizuku" (ひとしずく), which is Japanese for "a single droplet".
