| The name or term "Dead End" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Dead End (disambiguation). |
- Dead End is a Predacon from the Beast Era of the Generation 1 continuity family.

In many ways, Dead End (デッドエンド Deddo Endo) is the ideal Predacon soldier. Content in his rank amongst the troops on the frontline, he never makes any trouble for his superior officers nor partakes in any schemes for advancement. Casual observers might interpret this as a lack of ambition, but those who have met Dead End know his true passions are far more sinister. He just likes to kill.
Having graduated with honors from the Predacon war academy and having studied at length the military history of his and other races, Dead End's knowledge of the art of killing is nearly unsurpassed. He relishes storming the battlefield and taking life after life with his own claws or armaments. Dead End doesn't socialize well with his Predacon comrades, taking embarrassment in their many power plays and petty coups. To Dead End, being a soldier isn't about promotions or celebrity; being a soldier is about slaughtering the enemy and loving every minute of it.
