Transformers in Action: The Countdown to a New Space Age!
A Throttlebot helicopter returns to the Autobot base from a reconnaissance flight. The findings which he reports to the waiting Autobot assembly are as unspectacular as they are clichéd: It's quiet. Too quiet.
Since the humans are about to launch a highly-modern satellite that would make it difficult for the Decepticons to act undetected, everyone agrees that the calm cannot be trusted and Optimus Prime orders the Autobots to safeguard the operation.
With Goldbug and Blaster spearheading the convoy, the Autobots roll out, only to encounter a large force of Decepticons led by Shockwave right outside the gate.
While the Rescue Patrol is debating how this could have happened in spite of their security measures, Darkwing tauntingly butts in, revealing that the Decepticons have coated themselves with "an anti-magnetic, non-metallic deflector layer".
Blaster is suddenly caught in a heat ray. He tries to run away, gets caught on a rock and falls flat on his face.
Optimus Prime orders Goldbug to give him cover fire to ward off attacks from above and proceeds to do nothing. Meanwhile, the Rescue Patrol hits some Decepticons with freeze rays and an Autobot Pretender helps Blaster get back on his feet. Then, Optimus reminds everyone that they still have a launch to protect.
Shockwave laughs and takes off towards the launch site, and Optimus orders some Autobots to stick around and others to follow, as a tense high-speed chase ensues. Which turns out to be pointless, as the Decepticons have wasted too much time on their ambush and Shockwave doesn't make it to the launch site in time. (source)
