The Decepti-Bomb was an Autobot weapon capable of destroying an entire city. More nefariously, its components could only be traced to Decepticons.

IDW Generation 1 continuity
Prowl commissioned the neutral scientist Mesothulas to build the Decepti-Bomb, which was then used to destroy the neutral city of Carpessa, killing 1,438 neutrals. Thanks to the Decepticon-traceable components used in the bomb's construction, this was declared a Decepticon war crime, and every single survivor of the attack enlisted in the Autobot army.
