Flip Top, along with Hans-Cuff and Blaster, attempted to prevent a Cy-Kill from escaping Gobotron's prison moon. They failed. Renegade Rhetoric, 17/10/2015

Flip Top's failure to keep Cy-Kill incarcerated is lifted from the Challenge of the Gobots five-parter, "The Gobotron Saga".
Flip Top's Cybertronian-style body in the art of "High Noon" is based on Combiner Wars Alpha Bravo.
