Fiction
2001 Robots in Disguise cartoon
After the "rescuing" of Doctor Onishi from the Predacons, the location of the O-Parts was made top priority, and T-AI was able to construct O-Part detectors. Using the first of the detectors, the Autobot Brothers located the third O-Part in a stone pillar. They were joined by the Build Team. The construction Autobots had a second detector, and informed them that Optimus Prime had suggested a race to find the most O-Parts.
With the guidance of Doctor Onishi and the O-Part detectors, the two teams were soon racing across the Earth in search of the elusive artefacts. Despite the interference of Sky-Byte, Megatron and the Decepticons, all seven O-Parts were recovered by the Autobots. A Friendly Contest
