- Storm Surge is a Decepticon from the Cybertron portion of the Unicron Trilogy continuity family (via the 2008 universe series).
Put in charge of aquatic assaults by Megatron, Storm Surge's idea of battle tactics is to spew a confusing and overwhelming barrage of firepower into the air from the surface of the water.

- Storm Surge is identical to the live-action movie Storm Surge toy, which in turn is a redeco of Cybertron Shortround. Storm Surge transforms into a hovercraft, and inserting a Cyber Planet Key into his key jack swings a pair of (non-firing) torpedo racks up into firing position. This gimmick is available in both vehicle and robot modes. There is also a small, non-firing gun that can be held in either of his claws or can be mounted on the top of his hovercraft mode.
