Following directly on from IDW Publishing's The Transformers: Infiltration mini-series, The Transformers: Escalation takes its predecessor's revisions to Generation 1 continuity and ramps up the pressure, as both the Earth-bound operations of the Autobots and Decepticons, and the activities of the human group known as the Machination, kick into high gear.
