The Bermuda Triangle is a region in the North Atlantic. Aircraft and boats have gone missing there over the years, but scientists and official agencies have confirmed that this is no worse than anywhere else at sea. Comic writers and Decepticons, however, know different!

Fiction

Super-God Masterforce cartoon

The Bermuda Triangle was noted as a strange occurrence by Hawk. It was considered as a possible plot by the Decepticon Pretenders roaming Earth. Birth! Headmaster Jrs

Titan comics

Soundwave fled into the Bermuda Triangle to evade the United States Navy, only to find a far older US Navy ship... the USS Cyclops, lost since 1918 but not looking a day older since then! The Cyclops fired on him and in evading them, he ran afoul of another mysterious ship, the USS Nerus that dated back to 1941! He flew up to escape them, trying to tell himself ghost ships were too silly to be real...

And then got pelted by Flight 19, a squadron of ghost planes missing since 1945! Finally giving up, Soundwave fled to outer space.

The US Navy was well aware of the Triangle, and had assumed they wouldn't see Soundwave for a while after he'd gone in there... Making Waves
