- Given that nobody on the Trion had yet set foot on Earth at the time, it is unclear where Drift learned the details of the game from.
- The Micron Densetsu title of the Armada episode "Sacrifice", すていし (suteishi), can refer to the "sacrificed stone" in a game of go.
