IDW Generation 1 continuity
What was thought to be the remains of Sunstreaker after a Machination attack in Lebanon was taken into police custody in Springfield. Wheeljack and Jazz sneaked into the police department warehouse to retrieve the corpse, but were met by a Machination team, who absconded with the body. They didn't get far, as Optimus Prime blocked their escape. When the corpse was examined, it was discovered to not be Sunstreaker, after all. Escalation #2
