- Dinsmoore is a human from the cartoon portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Dinsmoore is Lord Chumley's somewhat addled manservant. Aged to the point of decrepitude, he has painful memories of the Boer War, and is no longer able to pour tea straight.

He had a black sense of humor, noting that the Decepticons were "just like the Humane Society in a way" when they spoiled Chumley's hunt, and dryly suggesting that, though Prime's value as a trophy had been ruined when he's believed dead by hands other than Chumley's, he could still be made into a nice coffee table. When Lord Chumley was contemplating how to destroy the Decepticon Triple Changers, Dinsmoore gleefully suggested molten lava.
