The Decepticons use the Transfixatron to lock the Autobots in their vehicle modes.
Synopsis
[edit]After Spike raises the suggestion that the Autobots could put on a charity race, Silverstreak and Trailbreaker talk their comrades into it. They begin the race unaware that the Constructicons have created a Transfixatron, and during the race, the device is used on the unsuspecting Autobots. The Decepticons soon reveal themselves, and it's then that the Autobots discover they're unable to transform to robot mode. By employing all of their stunt-driving skills, the Autobots succeed in keeping the Decepticons at bay long enough for the Autobots' scientists to find a way to reverse the affects of the Transfixatron. Scrapper and his men are forced to retreat as the Autobots destroy their device.

Notes
[edit]- This is a team battle event.
- The story is based on the Generation 1 episode "The Autobot Run".
- Silverstreak is erroneously named as Bluestreak in the event description, though his card is still named Silverstreak. No harm, no foul, though, as Hasbro had reacquired the trademark two years prior.
