- The Rending is...something from the Beast Wars: Uprising portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
The Rending is something horrible which occurred during the era of the Pax Cybertronia, after the rise of Overlord and prior to the beginning of the Games.

- The Rending was mentioned in passing by Nucleon in "A Brush With Infamy". whether we will ever find out what happened is unknown.
