- Baron Ironblood is a human from the IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

The helmeted Baron Ironblood is a lead member of a supervillain cabal bent on world domination.
Fiction
IDW Generation 1 continuity
Notes
- Baron Ironblood originated as the leader of the Red Shadows, the evil faction from Action Force, G.I. Joe's British antecedent-slash-counterpart, who were eliminated from the Action Force story and replaced with Cobra when Hasbro acquired the property and folded it into G.I. Joe mythology. Notably, the Action Force comic handled this transition by establishing Cobra Commander as a new identity for Ironblood... and though the Baron hasn't yet taken on the title of "Cobra Commander" in IDW continuity, First Strike does see him take command of Cobra!
