In Primax 208.06 Zeta, Rodimus Primal and the Wreckers were a resistance group against Obsidian's Vehicon rule of Cybertron. After the defeat of the Vehicons, Rodimus Primal formed a new High Council along with Waspscream, Icebird, and Magmatron. Ask Vector Prime, 2015/08/16

Notes

• Rodimus Primal is a canonized version of "Optimal Rodimus Primal", a proposed concept mentioned at BotCon 2000 of an updated version of Rodimus Prime as a redeco of Optimus Primal's Optimal Optimus form. This plan did not come to fruition, and instead Optimal Rodimus Primal's role in The Wreckers comic went to Rodimus and Primal Prime instead. Whether the canon Rodimus Primal is an upgraded Rodimus or an independent character is left for the reader to decide.
• Rodimus Primal's faction is unspecified, but he is presumably either an Autobot or Maximal.
• A proposed BotCon concept by Fun Publications was a redeco of Transmetal Rattrap into a beast form of G1 Rodimus Prime, named "Rodimouse", to match Optimus Primal and Ultra Mammoth as being Beast Wars Maximal archetypes of Autobot leaders Optimus Prime and Ultra Magnus, respectively.
