The Avalanche is a mass-produced Autobot bodyform from the Transformers: Rise of the Chevy Autobots portion of the live-action film continuity family.
When soccer moms attack.

The Avalanche-type Chevy Autobots mix physical power and processing power into one handy package. They're not the speediest bots out there, but they have the punch without sacrificing the brains. Their signature ability is a limited-use deflector shield that bounces back attacks to their opponents while heavily minimizing -if not outright negating- any damage to themselves.

It transforms into a Chevrolet Avalanche. Crushing news.

One could argue that Avalanche is actually a triple changer; as the original advertising campaign for the Avalanche was geared around its ability to "convert" from an SUV to a pickup.

One notable Avalanche is Ridge.

Avalanche was not an individual character, but rather one of seven body-types that could be selected in the game to craft a custom character. The player could modify their avatar's name and model at will.
