Fiction
Desert of Danger
In one possible scenario, Hot Rod and yourself were confronted by Mindwipe. Without Hot Rod's own targetmaster partner, however, the fight was a one-sided affair. Mindwipe shot a spurt of pungent liquid all over Hot Rod's chest, which seeped into his circuits and quickly deactivated him. Though the Viper pistol would have no effect on an organic such as yourself, Mindwipe needed only use his powerful hands to deal with you. Desert of Danger

- Mindwipe transforms into a robotic bat. In this mode, his pack-in Headmaster partner Vorath fits into his chest compartment. In robot mode, Vorath forms his head; attaching him activates a tumbler mechanism that displays an abbreviated set of Tech Specs behind the robot mode chest panel. Mindwipe and Vorath are both cross-compatible with any other Generation 1 Headmaster body/head.
- The tail gets in the way and prevents the bat from standing in an upright position, unless one swings the tail to the front, which, while hilarious looking, isn't the correct orientation. One solution is to unscrew the toy and flip the tail over so it angles upwards. Doing this doubly benefits the beast mode in that the tail now acts as a sort of third leg for stability. Speaking of swinging to the front, his shoulders are articulated to swing his robot arms chestward in beast mode, putting the chromed "speaker"-looking bits forward, as depicted in most media... but not in the toy's instructions. Oops.
