- The Gray Area is a region of space from the IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
The Gray Area is the border between the territories of the Galactic Council and the Solstar Order. Like most borders maintaining fragile peace between interstellar governments, it's a place of high tension and itchy trigger fingers.
