Hudson Soft was a Japanese computer game company. It was founded in 1973 by brothers Hiroshi and Yuji Kudo as a store for selling telecommunications devices, and evolved a few years later into a video game developer. Among the games they developed were Bomberman, Adventure Island, Momotarō Dentetsu, Bonk, Tengai Makyou (Far East of Eden), Bloody Roar and Mario Party. They were acquired by Konami in January 2011, then completely absorbed into Konami in March 2012.
In 2003, they took part in a joint production with Konami and Takara to produce DreamMix TV World Fighters, a fighting game mixing characters from all three companies including Takara's Optimus Prime and Megatron.
