Samus-blasters are a type of long-range weaponry. Lockdown has fitted his personal ship, the Death's Head with this type of blasters.

Most of the weaponry equipped to the Death's Head are references to bounty hunters of external properties. In this case, the Samus-blasters reference Samus Aran from Nintendo's Metroid games.
