At some point, Wavelength was listed as MIA, in actuality because Censere the Necrobot used the time case to rescue Wavelength from whatever fate awaited him and bring him to the future after the war (because he was listed as "missing" before Censere decided to use the time case...). The rigors of time travel taking its toll on Wavelength, he was placed in a coma and disguised as an organic being using holograms in a chamber within the Necroworld. During Team Rodimus's battle with the Decepticon Justice Division, Wavelength and his fellow rescuees came to and were greeted by a future unfamiliar to them.
