- The Seeker clones are human-built robots from the IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Reverse engineered from the bodies of Ramjet and Thrust, the remotely-operated Seeker clones make up the bulk of the Earth Defense Command's mechanized forces. Although they're officially owned by the EDC, their less-than-scrupulous creator Garrison Blackrock has occasionally deployed them without the permission of the organization to advance his own goals.
Thanks to Blackrock's experiments with the Enigma of Combination, some of them are capable of combining with one another, making them more than a match for any Cybertronian.

2005 IDW continuity
Early on in Megatron's invasion of Earth, Ramjet made a bungled play for power, which ended with Megatron beating him to death and keeping his head as a trophy. Spotlight: Ramjet After the Surge and the liberation of Earth, a wounded Thrust was executed by human police officers. Ride-Along
Their remains eventually found their way into the possession of Garrison Blackrock and the Earth Defense Command, who reverse-engineered Transformer technology and created an army of clones I Dream of Wires Some of these clones were given the ability to combine. The Nothing Man
Blackrock remotely deployed the Ramjet and Thrust drones, without the EDC's permission, to stop Devastator from stealing the Enigma of Combination. ONoffON As they flew towards Wanmu, the drones were slowed down by Thundercracker, who convinced Soundwave to block the signal controlling them. With their remote control negated, all the clones deactivated and dropped into the ocean. The Obliterati

The Thrust and Ramjet clone combiners were later deployed against a team of Autobots attempting to locate Blackrock's Onyx source-code, easily besting them. Sky Lynx attempted to retreat for reinforcements, only to discover that Blackrock had modified their combined forms to allow them to assume alt-modes too, which chased the dinobird-Autobot into the Ark-7's shields. The Nothing Man Helden

After Optimus Prime annexed Earth into the Council of Worlds, a Ramjet clone and a Thrust clone stood guard outside the White House. New Worlds Order Aileron wound up confronting them after her patience for humanity ran out; although they moved to stop her, Optimus Prime and Sunstreaker showed up and clobbered them. Edge of the Earth The Medium and the Message
Galvatron used Blackrock's connections to deploy a platoon of Seeker clones against the Autobots and Soundwave's Decepticons; their combined forms grappled with Superion and Victorion, but found themselves outmatched. It's Beginning To And Back Again As Above...So Below
Another duo of Seeker clones returned to guard the White House in the wake of Metrotitan's unexpected reappearance on Earth. No Fair Fights Thundercracker ran afoul of the drones when he travelled to Washington at the behest of Marissa Faireborn—and discovered that the clones were being controlled by the shapeshifting Dire Wraiths, who had infiltrated the US government. Thundercracker, D.0.C. and Bob were able to take down the clones before they could eliminate the Cybertronians. Thundercracker & Buster Save the World
Dirge eventually found out about the clones and was horrified by the defilement of his friends' bodies. As a result, the prospect of letting humans on Cybertron further horrified him. Primeless, Part 1
Notes
- China also has an anti-Transformer mech army in the form of the People's Liberation Army Mecha Force. Although they also use Blackrock-derived Cybertronian technology, these suits are physically piloted by a human and bear little resemblance to the Seeker clones.
