While incarcerated at Grindcore, Skids worked a few jobs for Tarn, the prison warden. One of these jobs was the repair of the "teleport generator" for a supposed "teleport chamber". This device was presented as a means to send slaves out of Grindcore and to work camps. For some inmates the device represented a way out, and as such, a source of hope.
Though Tarn claimed it would have sent its payload to Cyber-Outpost 117 on Ambervalia, it instead melted everyone down for raw materials. Speak, Memory! (Part 2)
Notes
