- IDW Publishing also produced comics for the CSI franchise. In volume 6, "Dying in the Gutters", when a murder occurs at a comic book convention, a shot of the convention hall shows an Autobot insignia prominently displayed in IDW's section. In another shot, showing CSI Stokes preventing a cosplayer (Human hands visible) from entering the convention/crime scene, the cosplayer's costume (and prop gun) seems to be based on Soundwave, but colored like Ultra Magnus or Optimus Prime.
