Robin Smith is a British artist, known for his work on Judge Dredd. His Transformers work features a large number of panels that have characters in poses directly lifted off their character models, with the occasionally redrawn arm or facial expression. In his defense, he wasn't the only one to do this. Smith's write-up in Transformers: The Facts noted that he didn't actually like drawing Transformers very much, but his work has nonetheless graced three different incarnations of the brand.
