Rocketbot

Rocketbot is an Autobot drone from the Henkei! Henkei! portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

And I'm going to be as high as a kite by then.

Rocketbot (ロケットボット Rokettobotto) is Strafe's drone.

• Strafe (Deluxe, 2009)

Rocketbot is a redeco of the 2008 Universe Nightstick mold, transforming into a hand-held blaster cannon. In gun mode, he can also plug into the rectangular sockets in Strafe's wrists when his (Strafe's) fists are left in their vehicle-mode storage positions.

Although Rocketbot's gold are chromed in the stock photos, the actual product features a flatter shade.

He was only available with the Gentei! Gentei! version of Strafe, which was an exclusive for members of the Transformers Basecamp web site in Japan, which is itself exclusive to those who own a Transformers-themed Visa credit card. The ordering period for Strafe and Rocketbot ran from March 2nd through April 30th in 2009.

This mold was used to make Shattered Glass Krunix and Nebulon, Vector Oracle, United Nightstick, and Tornado.
