Deadlock is a Decepticon and later an Autobot from the Cyberverse continuity family.

Deadlock doesn't fit in with the Decepticons. He believes in a more honorable lifestyle than what his fellow 'Cons enjoy, and given a chance, would jump at the opportunity to make his own path.

Early in the Great War, Deadlock, wishing to defect from the Decepticons, was brought to Maccadam's by Bumblebee, who needed to find Optimus Prime to get his new friend to safety. Unfortunately, news of Deadlock's defection had reached Megatron who personally followed them to the bar and intended to use Deadlock as an example to others. Before the tyrant could slay the traitor, Maccadam intervened and demanded that there would be no fighting in his bar. Notes

• In most continuities "Deadlock" is the name used by Drift before his defecting from the Decepticons to the Autobots, which may imply a few things about this Deadlock's future character arc.
• His design is based on a fan design made by Guido Guidi on his DeviantArt, though there are a some differences, like the placement of the Decepticon sigil, and the cockpit of the alt-mode on his chest.
• It's not entirely certain if Deadlock is actually a member of the Ark's crew yet, as the memory of Bumblebee's that he appeared in as such had been modified by Shockwave.
