IDW Generation 1 continuity

The Titan of Vector Prime, Ceremony Tempo, alongside twelve other Titans, departed Cybertron to found new outposts of Cybertronian civilization. First Contact Tempo was one of the first Titans to leave, but by all accounts neither he or his crew ever returned. Rubicon

Tempo may have made planetfall on LV-117; either way, he eventually passed. Ceremony

In the present day, the Titan Vigilem was able to disguise his presence from his old foe Metroplex by masking his space bridge signature as that of Tempo's. Rubicon Assuming that he had found Tempo, Metroplex established a link with Vigilem. Windblade vol. 2 #4

When Windblade met with the ship's captain, Elita One, she learned that their Titan was not named "Tempo", but rather, "Carcer". Elita, hoping to hide the dark history behind her ship, simply claimed they had renamed their ship during their long voyage. Windblade knew that this was the name of another, separate Titan, and was secretly concerned with what Elita was hiding from her. The Will of the Few Windblade went to ask Metroplex about the relationship between Carcer and Tempo to which the Titan answered that Carcer was a different Titan. When Vigilem later awoke, Metroplex reflected that he did not know how or why he would have chosen to mask as Tempo. Rubicon

Tempo's remains were presumably absored by Unicron when the Chaos Bringer consumed LV-117. Syndromica (2) Our Darkest Unicron #1
