A palette swap is a term which means a graphic already used for one element is given a different color scheme. There are many generic characters who are palette swap characters in original The Transformers cartoon and other animated series. A certain store likes palette swaps very much.
The palette swap should not be confused with being miscolored,123 which is a type of animation error.
