Jon Voight (December 29, 1938 – ) is an American actor. Among his many roles, his most notable was perhaps in the film Anaconda, where he played the Old Guy Eaten by the Snake. By the end of the summer of 2007, it was the shotgun-toting Secretary of Defense instead.

Oh, and he was in Midnight Cowboy, Deliverance, Zoolander, Fantastic Beasts & Where To Find Them, season 7 of 24 and currently on Ray Donavan. And won a Best Actor Oscar. But that's all of subsidiary importance, frankly.

• He's Angelina Jolie's dad.
• Despite being in much of 24's seventh season, Voight's character never interacted with Glenn Morshower's - probably all the better for Voight.
• He thinks Barack Obama is making our country weak and "oppressing" the people. He should know, because he led the fight against giant freaking robots - and WON.
• His performance in Transformers, coupled with his performances in Bratz, National Treasure: Book of Secrets and September Dawn (good lord, was he busy that year!) earned him a nomination for Worst Supporting Actor at the Golden Raspberry Awards. He ultimately lost to Eddie Murphy, for one of his roles in Norbit.
• He and Shia Labeouf also portrayed in Holes together.
