Mazinger Z versus Transformers (マジンガーZ 対 トランスフォーマー Majingā Zetto tai Toransufōmā) is an upcoming crossover comic from Village Books. Scheduled for release March 28, 2019, the manga will bring together the Generation 1 Transformers with fellow 1980s super robot franchise Mazinger Z.
Synopsis
When a spacetime warp sends the Autobots and Decepticons to the Japan of another dimension, they get involved in Mazinger Z's fight against Dr. Hell and Baron Ashura.
Creative team
The series is plotted by Yūjin Ishikawa, written by Naoto Tsushima, and drawn by a team of Yū Kinutani, Hayato Sakamoto, Hidetsugu Yoshioka, Kazumi Hoshi, Naoyuki Fujisawa, and Naoto Tsushima. Cover art is provided by original Mazinger Z author Go Nagai and gallery art is provided by Shinobu Kaze, Tsuyoshi Nonaka, Yuki Ohshima, and Fumitaka Isao.
