Blaster reported live for the Iaconian Newsfeed Service from the scene of an attempted assassination on Nominus Prime. Orion Pax, a local police captain in the Torus States, watched the broadcast until an electrical storm disrupted the transmission. Chaos Theory #2 Ratchet wasn't a fan of what the Newsfeed Service had become by this time, complaining that everything they aired was either state-sponsored Senate propaganda or useless non-news. Another of their reporters, Slamdance, reported on the death of Nominus Prime, Post Hoc a newly emerged recording of Pious Maximus, a police chase in the Translucentica Heights, Patternism and the end of the registration period for Decepticons. An Intimate Beheading

Later, once Orion Pax became Optimus Prime and Iacon was under Decepticon control, Prime deemed the Iaconian Newsfeed Service to be the best way of rallying allies to his cause. He traveled to the newsfeed's headquarters, where Prowl cut the current broadcast and allowed Blaster to hijack it with a message from Optimus Prime to all Cybertronians willing to fight against the Decepticons.
