- Borebit is an Autobot from the Marvel portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Borebit is one of the Autobots under Perceptor's command on Cybertron.
Fiction

Borebit, along with Corkscrew, was used to burrow into Darkmount during the Autobots' attack to destroy the space bridge.
It is unknown how he fared in the battle. Probably not well, since the Autobots were attacked immediately upon going topside. The Bridge to Nowhere!
2005 IDW continuity
Borebit was once a member of the Primal Vanguard. His spare drill bit found its way into the collection of Ironfist, avid Vanguard fan. An Intimate Beheading Much later, Borebit was killed by Tesarus of the Decepticon Justice Division in a matter that Tarn later noted as "particularly innovative" in Tesarus's performance review.
