Povians are aliens from the 2005 IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

The Povians are a species native to Pova in the Redan Quadrant.

Before the war, the Iaconian Newsfeed Service reported on Senator Proteus making first contact with the Povians, though his role in the event was likely exaggerated to make the Senate look good. Post Hoc

As the war broke out, the Diplomatic Corps made contact with the Povians and Skids participated in many of their trade summits. Who's Afraid of the DJD?

The Povians signed the Neutrality Agreement with the Transformers, granting Pova exemption status from the Great War. When the Wreckers captured Squadron X at Pova, Prowl forced the terms of the agreement on Impactor, requiring him to release Squadron X. Last Stand of the Wreckers #5
