The Ghost Trap is a device used to capture and contain ghosts ensnared by a Proton Pack for transport to the ghost containment unit at the Ghostbusters headquarters. In use, once an operator has ensnared a ghost with a stream from the Proton Pack, the Trap is slid directly underneath the ghost. A switch is then activated to open the Trap, drawing in the ghost and closing when the apparition is contained.
