Hudson Soft was a Japanese computer game company. It was founded in 1973 by brothers Hiroshi and Yuji Kudo as a store for selling telecommunications devices, and evolved a few years later into a video game developer. Franchises developed by the company included Bomberman, Star Soldier, Adventure Island, Momotarō Dentetsu, Far East of Eden, Bonk, Bloody Roar and Mario Party. They were fully acquired by Konami in April 2011, then completely absorbed into Konami in March 2012.
In 2003, Hudson took part in a joint production with Konami and Takara to produce DreamMix TV World Fighters, a fighting game mixing characters from all three companies including Takara's Optimus Prime and Megatron.
