Shokaract muses about the state of affairs in the universe he plans to conquer.

Synopsis

Shokaract muses on the nature of darkness, and the whispers that emerge from it; whispers that speak of a destiny of destruction, to which he has always listened to, even back as the mindless "Hunter". Now, having found the dark void he was looking for, he has evolved into the immortal warlord he was always meant to be. Casting his glance towards Cybertron, he watches as the Cybertronian Knight try to keep the peace, unaware of the sleeping giant their "peace" stands upon. He casts his glance at his former Star Seeker comrades; their new captain, Flamewar, and her ally, the resurrected Starscream, have proven to be very valuable pawns. Shokaract declares that he has learned from the mistakes of the past, and that when he returns, Cybertron will not be prepared...

Notes

Continuity notes

  • This story follows on from the the end of "Hoist the Flag", where the Hunter found the Dark Essence and became Shokaract.
  • Shokaract flashes back to his days chained up in the gladiatorial pits, as mentioned in his BotCon 2014 toy's tech specs.
  • After Cannonball's failure in "Hoist the Flag", the Facebook page Tornado - Decepticon Saboteur showed his and the Star Seeker's attempts to find Starscream's indestructible spark, only for Flamewar to ally with the Seeker and betray Cannonball, becoming the new Star Seeker captain.

Transformers references

Errors

  • Squirm and the Navigator appear alongside Captain Flamewar, but the Tornado Facebook page had them both as loyalists to the disembodied Cannonball who chose to be marooned on a planetoid with him.
