- The Zaffuru are Decepticon weapons from the Mystery of Convoy portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
A Zaffuru (ザッフル) is a defensive gun emplacement used by the Decepticon forces.

Installed on the floors of Decepticon-held areas, Zaffuru automatically fire short-range blasts roughly every second, keeping Autobots away from them... unfortunately, their blast range is considerably shorter than the Autobots'.
