When Tidal Wave arrived on Earth, Thrust claimed that the powerful warrior had arrived from the planet Dabola, where he led his troops to victory. Awakening

While on Dabola, Tidal Wave was in charge of a Decepticon platoon which included Shockblast and Six Shot. After a series of battles, they eliminated the Autobots on the planet but Shockblast and Six Shot grew bored and started lashing out at their Decepticon allies. 2005 IDW continuity
At some point during the Great War, the Decepticon captain known as Turmoil sent Deadlock to destroy retreating Autobot forces on Dabola. The sheer brutality of his actions convinced Metalhawk to leave the war. Interference Patterns Drift #1
