Codexa is a Transformer from the 2019 IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
"You never call! You never write! You only come and visit when you need something! You have any idea how boring it is being stuck to a wall like this?"

Bonded to Cybertron itself, the Cybertronian known as Codexa is a wise sage, and a frequent advisor to Orion Pax when the Senator needs an ear. However, her long hibernation, combined with her decrepit physical form, has rendered her more than a little scatterbrained, prone to muddling details and forgetting the identities of her visitors.

Codexa bore witness to the Age of Expansion and the acts of the Titans during the era. The experience left her with a very critical view of the Age, something she eventually wrote about in The Way We Were, by One Who Saw It. The Change In Your Nature Part Five

Three hundred kilocycles ago, Codexa was past the prime of her life; like many other Cybertronians who reached their golden years, she planned to "go immersant," and voluntarily leave society behind to go dormant and rejoin the fabric of Cybertron. In these twilight years of her life, she mentored the young archivist Orion Pax, and at one point sent him to observe the opening of the great Winged Moon before the politicians arrived. By the present day, Codexa had indeed retired, retreating to a secluded chamber beyond the outskirts of Iacon. While conflicted over the rise of Megatron and his Ascenticons, Orion sought out Codexa for advice, The World In Your Eyes Part Three though as he reminisced on his history with the Ascenticon leader he revealed that he had actually come to her to seek validation for his next move—a move that might send him down the path of no return. Codexa simply responded that the "single song" of a united Cybertron had begun to falter, a statement that Orion could only agree with. Orion Pax: Free Fall
