Elsewhere | Elsewhere, [[Spike Witwicky (G1)|Spike]], [[Lisa|Elizabeth]], and the Autobot [[Pretender]]s follow the [[Megatron (G1)|mysterious man]] through the woods, wary of the man's intentions. Arriving at a cliff, [[Metalhawk (Masterforce)|Metalhawk]] asks the man how much longer their journey will take. The man tells them they've already arrived, and turns off a cloaking device...and then, with a cry of "Suit on!", transforms into a Decepticon Pretender! Taking aim at Spike and Elizabeth, Metalhawk sheds his disguise as well to save his human companions, while [[Vroom (G1)|Vroom]] and [[Crossblades (G1)|Crossblades]] confront the Decepticon. Strangely, the Decepticon is pleased with their nobility and willingness to protect the humans; he demands that they show him how they fight back. Before anyone can get injured, Metalhawk calls for Vroom and Crossblades at the bottom of the cliff-side, where a Decepticon cruiser lies, though not one that Metalhawk recognizes. The Decepticon explains that he, too, is a Transformer...but one native to this universe, one that no longer has a [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]]. The Decepticon explains that, much like any other dimension, the planet fell into civil war between to factions. As technology marched on, both sides tried to create ultimate weapons to destroy the others. The hot-headed [[Ruckus (G1)|Ruckus]] scoffs at the seemingly ordinary Decepticon, and prepares to kill him, but [[Bludgeon (G1)|Bludgeon]] stops him. Ramjet goes up to the Bludgeon, attracted to the [[Matrix of Malice]] inside the commander's chest. Bludgeon threatens the mysterious Decepticon, but Ramjet tells him not to worry; he's dealt with evil Matrices before, and this one has no connection to his [[Unicron|master]], instead proposing an alliance.
